I had a rainbow in my head
It was yellow and purple and blue and red
The colors flew like flies
They buzzed and crackled out my eyes
I painted a picture as the colors streamed out
It was a portrait of a concept that I was thinking about
Suddenly the portrait became animated like a video clip
I sat down on my couch, I thought I was losing my grip
Then the portrait spoke in a dull and scratchy voice
It shimmered and moaned “I have no choice!”
I tried to comfort the portrait by saying “a priori”
But the portrait exploded and splattered all over me
